The event, designed to showcase Harris’s leadership skills with a surprise endorsement from the former president, quickly turned into a spectacle when Obama raised his hand to gesture enthusiastically, only for Harris to awkwardly mimic the motion, her limbs moving as if pulled by invisible strings.

“Is that puppet strings I see?” exclaimed one onlooker, barely able to contain their laughter as they recorded the bizarre display. Harris’s speech quickly devolved into a series of jerky movements, her head bobbing and swaying in an uncanny imitation of a malfunctioning puppet.
