AOC absolutely destroys lawmakers: ‘It’s a physical impossibility to be in a pickle’
US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) absolutely destroyed lawmakers yesterday who thought people could actually, “be in a pickle.”
“This whole idea of being ‘in a pickle’. Did you know it’s a physical impossibility to be inside a pickle? The whole thing is a joke. You can’t be in a pickle anymore than you can be in an apple,” Ocasio-Cortez said, laying waste to the haters.
She then went on to destroy several other common idioms.
“This whole idea of ‘when life hands you lemons, make lemonade’ is a joke too. Life doesn’t have hands to hand you anything. It’s a physical impossibility.
“It’s also physically to soar like an eagle and hold your horses if you don’t have horses. Duh! And no you can’t wear your heart on your sleeve. You would literally bleed to death.
“And don’t get me started on ‘achieving the impossible.’ That is, by definition, an impossibility,” she added.
Ocasio-Cortez was so thorough in her annihilation of these “stupid” arguments that everyone in the chamber gave up and walked out.
