Massachusetts Judge Bans Trump from Being President, Cites ‘Orange Man Bad’ Doctrine

A Municipal Judge in Suburban Township, Massachusetts, roughly twenty miles west of Boston, has issued a permanent nation-wide injunction on the Trump Administration’s exercise of executive power, “in any future action, for any reason whatsoever.”

In her one-page opinion, Hon. Anita Hanjaab wrote, “By presuming to exercise executive power, Donald Trump has overstepped the bounds of his authority under Article II of the Constitution of the United States, which I remember reading in law school.  Since, as the saying goes, ‘Orange Man bad,’ it is impossible for this court to imagine the Framers intending to invest him with executive authority, and Article II must be interpreted in that light.  For this reason, this court enjoins every exercise of this president or any member of his Administration, whether past, present, or future, and orders the Trump Administration to reverse every action taken since 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, January 20, 2025.”

The case involved a complaint from Massachusetts man, Juan Proxeneta Traficante de Drogas, who had been arrested by local police for drunken disorderliness when they arrived at a local brothel to investigate claims of child sex-trafficking by suspected unauthorized immigrants purported to belong to the Tren de Aragua drug cartel, which the Trump Administration had designated as a terrorist organization.

Police allege that, during the arrest, Mr. Drogas attempted to slash the arresting officers with a stiletto, and that he was found to be carrying “enough fentanyl to kill an elephant” and a loaded handgun with the serial number scratched off, as well as a forged ID and three notices of deportation.  Police report that the handgun found at the scene allegedly in the possession of Mr. Drogas, was tested by ballistics and found to have been used in the commission of several unsolved homicides in which Mr. Drogas had been considered a “person of interest.”

The Massachusetts man, is a loving father of six to eight children, born to women ranging in age from seventeen to thirty-six.  The identities of the women and children have been withheld out of respect for their privacy.  Two of Mr. Drogas’ children, however, were born to his wife of six years, Amelia Drogas (22).   We reached out to Mr. Drogas’ wife for comment, but without offering an explanation, she declined to speak with us.

Ms. Drogas’ neighbors told us, on condition of anonymity, that she feared retaliation from Drogas, who, though under a restraining order since allegedly beating his wife into a coma several months ago for saying hello to the UPS delivery driver, comes to the home every day, unannounced, to check on her.

Genesius Times has not been able to verify these claims, as doing so would require researching public court records, an act we would consider disrespectful of Mr. Drogas, whom we regard as innocent until proven guilty.

Mr. Drogas had complained to the Court that he would never have been arrested had the police not responded to the alleged disturbance.  His lawyers from the ACLU argued that, “By prioritizing the enforcement of federal immigration law, fighting terrorism, and seeking to combat human-trafficking, the flow of illegal drugs, and child prostitution, the Trump Administration had created the perfect storm for placing Mr. Drogas in the wrong place at the wrong time, leading to his arrest at the brothel while publicly intoxicated, carrying a controlled substance and an illegal firearm while under a restraining order for domestic violence, and entrapping him into resisting arrest and assaulting officers of the law with a deadly weapon.”

The Genesius Times spoke with a young woman who goes by the professional name “Fantasy,” and who works at the brothel where the incident occurred.  Fantasy, who empowers herself part-time after school and on the weekends, told us that Judge Hanjaab owns the building in which the brothel operates, but that she charges rent only in the form of 25% of total earnings.  We reached out to Judge Hanjaab for comment, but she assured us that neither her ownership of the brothel, nor the fact that Mr. Drogas is involved in talent acquisition for the establishment, in any way influenced her judgment in this case, and that she has remained at all times completely impartial.

In an official statement, spokespersons for the Suburban Township Police said that the officers involved in the incident, “believed at the time that the circumstances of the moment provided reasonable cause to arrest Mr. Drogas,” but Judge Hanjaab disagreed and dismissed the case with prejudice, saying that Mr. Drogas’ Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment rights had been violated.

Attorney General for the United States, Pam Bondi, responded to Judge Hanjaab’s ruling, calling her actions, “judicial activism,” and pledging an immediate emergency appeal.  Whether or not the Trump Administration will be found to have standing to appeal the judge’s ruling, however, remains uncertain.  In the meantime, Attorney General Bondi maintains that a permanent nation-wide injunction against the exercise of the executive power granted the President of the United States under Article II of the Constitution causes irreparable harm to Mr. Trump and the Trump Administration, and that issuing such an injunction exceeds the jurisdiction of a municipal judge.

In a public statement, responding to Ms. Bondi’s remarks, US Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) urged compliance with the Court’s order.  “Ms. Bondi should know,” Sen. Warren warned, “that by continuing to act in her capacity as Attorney General she is in flagrant disregard of a judicial order enjoining the Trump Administration from exercising any executive power for any reason whatsoever, and that by doing so, she is embroiling our democracy in a constitutional crisis.  Her continued attempts to prosecute criminals and pursue legal cases in which the United States of America and the Executive Branch are implicated are a participation in the very lawlessness that has characterized this Administration from day one.”
