During the impeachment trial, Chief Justice John Roberts prevented Senator Rand Paul from saying a name because it was the whistleblower that no one knows the name of.

Representative Adam Schiff, whose daughter is dating the whistleblower, doesn’t know the identity or anything about the whistleblower, except that “he blows whistles very well.”

“I’ve never met the whistleblower. I don’t know anything about him—not even his name,” Adam Schiff said. “But we can’t let Rand Paul say Eric Ciaramella‘s name because he’s the whistleblower that I don’t know anything about.”

Here was the question:

Manager Schiff and Counsel for the President: Are you aware that House Intelligence committee staffer Shawn Misko had a close relationship with Eric Ciaramella while at the National Security Council together and are you aware and how do you respond to reports that Ciaramella and Misko may have worked together to plot impeaching the president before the formal House impeachment proceedings?
