Biden shocked his “gun-free school zone” law hasn’t worked

WASHINGTON, DC—President* Joe Biden is shocked that a law he introduced in 1990 prohibiting guns at schools didn’t work.
“We explicitly said to not bring guns to schools. It’s the law. I don’t understand why people aren’t listening to that,” Biden said.
The Gun-Free School Zones Act (GFSZA) is an act introduced by then-Senator Biden prohibiting any unauthorized individual from knowingly possessing a loaded or unsecured firearm at a place that the individual knows, or has reasonable cause to believe, is a school zone.

“It’s almost as if people will intentionally break the law in order to kill a bunch of people. I just don’t get it,” Biden added. “I guess we need more laws to stop people who don’t follow the law.”
Biden has promised to pass a new law to make people follow his 1990 law prohibiting guns from schools.
