CNN: Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffers rare complication to climate change on MNF
(CNN) The US sports community was united in expressing concern Monday night after the collapse of Damar Hamlin during the game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Medical experts said that Hamlin suffered from a rare complication to climate change.
The Center for Disease Control and Perpetuation (CDC) have confirmed that deaths by this rare complication to climate change are at an all-time high.
“No one can explain it,” Assistant CDC Director Hugh Janus said. “It’s a mystery. We have never seen climate change on the list of causes of death until 2021. Now, it’s one of the leading causes of death though, it’s still very rare.”
The risk is so high that the CDC have issued a campaign alerting people of the dangers.
“If you have done everything that the CDC said you should, you may be at risk of dying from climate change and should contact your doctor to take drugs that may help you,” the advertising states.
