Last week the Supreme Court invalidated President Joe Biden’s student loan debt relief plan. The Court struck down the proposal because it wasn’t passed by Congress like it’s supposed to, which came as a surprise to many Democrats. “I had no idea that our job as lawmakers is to make laws,” Nancy Pelosi said. “Had I known that, I would have pushed the student relief plan through Congress like laws are supposed to.” Experts criticized Pelosi for her ignorance on passing laws given that she’s been in Congress since 1873.
