Hundreds of January 6th (J6) defendants have changed their names to Hunter Biden in a desperate attempt to secure Joe Biden’s blanket pardon for his son.

According to court documents, the J6 defendants have filed legal motions requesting that their names be changed to Hunter Biden, arguing that they are entitled to the same protections and benefits afforded to the President’s son under the Constitution. 

“We believe that by changing our names to Hunter Biden, we will be able to take advantage of the Biden administration’s generosity and receive a blanket pardon just like his son,” said one J6 defendant. “It’s only fair that we should also be able to avoid accountability for our actions on January 6th.” 

The reaction to the J6 defendants’ move has been mixed, with some expressing support for their decision to change their names to Hunter Biden in order to secure a pardon, while others have laughed it off as yet another example of political grandstanding.

Social media has been abuzz with memes and jokes mocking the defendants’ stance, with many users pointing out the irony of a group of accused insurrectionists trying to take advantage of the President’s son’s pardon.
