CNN: Fauci’s dog torture experiments were mostly peaceful

(CNN) The Republicans are leading another witch hunt against Dr. Anthony Fauci, who conducted mostly peaceful dog torture experiments while leading the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Disease (NIAID).

A report from the White Coat Waste Project that was based off a Freedom of Information Act request with the NIAID millions of dollars in taxpayer money was spent on canine experiments during which beagles were mostly peacefully infected with parasites via biting flies and mostly peacefully had their vocal cords ripped out of their throats so experimenters wouldn’t have to listen to them howl in pain.

“The $1.68 million of taxpayer funds to force-feed and/or inject dozens of beagle puppies with experimental drugs is unnecessarily brutal and gruesome. Dr. Fauci and the rest of the NIH leadership should come forward and explain what the hell is truly going on,” US Representative Nancy Mace said.

But, clearly, the head of all science—Fauci—didn’t do anything wrong. It’s impossible for science to do something wrong, so Mace must be wrong.

President* Joe Biden said that Fauci didn’t use his dogs, so there’s nothing wrong with the experiments.

“Did he use my dogs? No? Then why should I care?” Biden said.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has demanded to know why Fauci didn’t use unvaccinated Trump supporters instead of dogs for these experiments.
