WASHINGTON, DC—Soccer player Megan Rapinoe bravely stood on an American flag while receiving the Presidential Medal of Honor from President* Joe Biden.

Biden on Thursday awarded the American soccer star Megan Rapinoe the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor for hating America the best.

“Megan Rapitoe exemplifies what it means to hate America and so she deserves the highest civilian honor,” Biden said in his remarks.

Biden also made sure that no other American flags were present in the ceremony besides the one that Rapinoe stood on so that she wouldn’t be offended.

“To be American means you can’t stand America and that’s what we’re honoring today,” Biden said.

Rapinoe has been a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team since 2006 and has helped the team win disrespect the country they played for in two World Cups.

Biden has also renamed the honor the Presidential Medal of fREEEEEEEEdom.
