“Everyone who wears glasses is smart,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said in an interview, “so these are proof that I know my stuff.”

Ocasio-Cortez has been under fire recently for making incorrect statements about the government that she was just elected to participate in. She also seems to be utterly ignorant of the horrifying devastation that socialism has wrecked on civilization.

“But, I’m going to wear glasses now, so I’m going to be much smarter!”

Critics aren’t convinced.

“Glasses don’t make you smarter,” Bob Frisk said of the move. “It’s just a dumb publicity stunt.”

“I think this myth is on par with the idea that socialism works but just hasn’t been tried effectively, yet.”

Ocasio-Cortez took the glasses off. “Look, not smart.” Then she put them back on. “Smart again!”
