Oppressive white stick figure lynched on George Washington University campus
Thinking the dark days of lynching were well behind us, I was first shocked and then admittedly exhilarated to discover George Washington University had revived the practice.
The controversy reared it’s ugly head when the students of this historical college decided they had had enough of systematic white patriarchal oppression. The white stick figures visible all over campus in crosswalk lights, terrorizing helpless minorities, was made to account for their dastardly oppression.
George Washington University students played a game of hangman, with the oppressive figure, spelling out their final verdict—alongside the white male stick-figure hanging by his neck—Bigot.
The oppressive white stick figure is dead. Long live inclusivity!
