WASHINGTON, DC—Fifty-one ex-intelligence officers have warned that all of the 41,000 hours of the newly-released January 6 surveillance video footage are likely Russian disinformation.

“We are aware of the reports that there are 41,000 hours of video footage that the January 6 Committee failed to release to the public, but that is likely Russian disinformation,” Ex-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said.

Clapper has recently said that his and the other 50 ex-intelligence officers claiming that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation is also Russian disinformation.

Democrats will hold a virtual conference call on Wednesday to discuss the details of the thousands of hours of security footage that, Axios first reported Monday, Speaker Kevin McCarthy provided to the Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

“We can’t really stop that from getting out but we can call it Russian disinformation, which has the same effect” Rep Bennie Thompson said.
