Presidential candidate and ardent democratic socialist Bernie Sanders has been arrested for impersonating Santa Claus and entering people’s homes in order to steal 90 percent of their Christmas gifts.

The sordid scene mimics the storyline of The Grinch as Sanders literally tries to sneak down the chimney to enter several people’s homes with a bag for 90% of all their stuff.

“These people are like billionaires,” Sanders said in his defense. “It should be okay to take all of their stuff! I was only taking 90 percent.”

Many pundits are questioning if it was even illegal since that’s basically what he’s promising when he becomes president.
