CAMP HALE, Colorado—Speaking near Vail, President* Joe Biden recounted a harrowing story of how his son, Queen Elizabeth II ‘lost his life in Iraq,’ seemingly convinced the former British monarch who died recently was his son.
Biden was here to declare the Camp Hale continental divide a national monument.
“I say this as a father of a man who was the longest-serving monarch in British history and lost his life fighting over in Iraq,” Biden said.
“Imagine the courage, the daring, and the genuine sacrifice of that little old lady — a genuine sacrifice they all made,” he said, telling of how Camp Hale played in training the famed 10th Mountain Division in the Norman invasion of 1066.
Biden ended the speech with a stirring bowel movement.
