BREAKING: Twitter suspends the CDC for contradicting the CDC
TWATVILLE, CA—Social media behemoth Twitter has been banned the Centers for Disease Control and Propagation (CDC) indefinitely from its platform for violating its community standards of not allowing anyone to contradict the Centers for Disease Control and Propagation (CDC).
The CDC released new guidance Thursday loosening COVID-19 restrictions. The agency no longer recommends staying six feet away from other people and says contact tracing should be limited to hospitals and high-risk group-living situations.
“We cannot allow anyone to contradict the CDC and the health establishment,” Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal said about the incident.
The guidance also doesn’t advise quarantining for people who’ve been exposed to the virus but aren’t infected. The CDC has also deleted some of its earlier guidance, which is basically science denial, Agrawal said.
“Whatever the CDC says is true and not even the CDC can contradict that. These people should be in jail,” Agrawal added.
