STOCKHOLM—The nation of Sweden has embarked on a very different response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many other nations have taken note.

Did Sweden initiate a mandatory lockdown? They did not. Are they social distancing? Yes, but due to over population. Does the government trust that you will stay home if you are sick? Yes, no legislation is needed. In spite of the lack of government involvement in day-to-day life in Sweden, there has not been a spike in coronavirus cases. How can this be?!

“We are just doing life,” Calle Holmgren said through an interpreter. “We do have one secret though.”

We pressed to get an answer from Mr. Holmgren but, he could not understand what we were saying. We pressed Mr. Holmgren’s interpreter who pressed as well, and they both informed us that the secret the Swedes are using is invisible face masks!

“Yes, I invented invisible face masks and every Swede wears them,” said Dr. Axel Karlsson, “in spite of appearances, our government did enforce this rule. Every photo or video you see of Swedish people will show us wearing our amazing invisible masks.”

We asked Dr. Karlsson why other nations like the U.S.A. have not taken up these invisible masks or invented their own versions of the PPE, but the doctor could only tell us that Dr. Fauci is a simp.

Other Swedish people have claimed to wear these facial masks while at work, using public transit, and even while sleeping.

President Trump has claimed to have been wearing a Swedish face masks initially but switched to an American-made one as a sign of solidarity.

Greta Thunberg has also been wearing one of these face masks, even before the COVID-19 pandemic.

We at the Genesius Times are seriously thinking of switching to Swedish face masks.
