Democrats launch war on inequality from 5-star restaurant in Venice, Italy
Several high-ranking Democrats declared a war on inequality after enjoying an extremely expensive lunch at the renowned Harry Cipriani in Venice, right near their 5 star hotel, while their constituents are living in squalor.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi led the collection of enemies of inequality on their posh vacation to the Italian resort destination.
Joining her were the Squad members Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, recent newsbuster Elijah Cummings, and Frederica Wilson.
“We read from our dear friend Bernie Sanders’s book, ‘How to Get Rich Fighting Income Inequality‘ and just had a really nice lunch,” Pelosi said.
Rep. Elijah Cummings made a point to say that he’s fighting very hard for his district between courses of delectable gourmet food.
“Every day, I’m in my district fighting for the impoverished people there—except when I’m spending taxpayer money on lavish vacations in Italy.”
