LOS ANGELES—The growing feud between NBA players Enes Kanter and LeBron James just got more intense as Kanter became an American citizen and changed his last name to Freedom prompting LeBron James to renounce his American citizenship and change his last name to “Slavery” to get back at Freedom.

Freedom charged Slavery in a tweet several months ago:

Money over Morals for the “King”

Sad & disgusting how these athletes pretend they care about social justice

They really do “shut up & dribble” when Big Boss says so

Did you educate yourself about the slave labor that made your shoes or is that not part of your research?

LeBron responded with:

I don’t really give too many people my energy. And he’s definitely not someone I will give my energy to. Trying to use my name to create an opportunity for himself. Definitely won’t comment too much on that, if any, and that will be where I lay at that.

Then Kanter became a naturalized US citizen and officially changed his name to Enes Kanter Freedom.

LeBron responded cooly by renouncing his US citizenship and legally changing his name to LeBron James Slavery.
