Martha’s Vineyard changes motto to ‘Where All Are Welcome Somewhere Else’
MARTHA’S VINEYARD, MA—In light of the recent humanitarian crisis, Martha’s Vineyard has updated its official flag and motto to “Martha’s Vineyard Where All Are Welcome Somewhere Else”.
“We absolutely welcome all immigrants and migrants to other parts of the country,” Martha’s Vineyard resident Mia Farrow said. “It would be racist not to.”
Within 24 hours of Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis engaged in racist human trafficking to move the immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, the Democratic Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker engaged in humanitarian care by moving the immigrants off the welcoming island.
“Let me be clear,” Baker said. “It’s human trafficking when the Republicans do it. It’s humanitarian justice when I do it.”
