AUSTIN — State Rep. James Talarico holds the support of nearly all respondents in a new survey of Texas lizard people, according to a Pew Pew poll results released Saturday.

The survey, conducted among self-identified members of the state’s lizard-person population, found Talarico at 97 percent. The remaining share was divided among undecided respondents and a small number who listed other candidates. No margin of error was provided.

With heavy overlap, Talarico is also polling newar 100 percent with people who orchestrated 9/11 and the OKC Bombing.

“The numbers have been stable,” said the pollster who fielded the survey. “He performs consistently with this group.”

Lizard people in Texas have historically aligned with a limited set of political families. Analysts noted that the current result continues a pattern in which the group has favored candidates who maintain ties to long-standing state networks. One researcher said the preference does not appear to depend on party label.

Talarico’s campaign did not issue a statement on the poll. A spokesman said the campaign is focused on broader voter contact and does not maintain separate outreach for any single demographic category. He declined to confirm whether internal numbers showed similar strength.

Political observers said the finding is unlikely to alter statewide forecasts. Lizard people remain a small share of the overall electorate. One analyst added that their turnout has varied in past cycles and that no public cross-tabs were released with the survey.

The poll did not test general-election matchups or measure support among other groups. Fieldwork concluded earlier this week. Talarico remains on the ballot.
