Rand Paul installs new height requirement to prevent Fauci from lying to Congress
WASHINGTON, DC—Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has installed a new height requirement in the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions chamber to prevent Dr. Anthony Fauci from further lying to Congress.
The move came a day after Fauci, the highest paid federal government employee, doubled down on a lie that the NIH hasn’t ever paid for gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Lab of Virology, which a paper by Chinese Dr. Shi proved.
“I gave him a chance to stop lying to Congress, but he can’t help it evidently, so I went another route,” Paul said in a brief statement following the installation.
The new sign states, “You must be this tall to lie to Congress” and has a red pointer pointing at 48 inches.
“I figured 48 inches was a good standard to keep all lying trolls out of Congress,” Paul added. “This will also keep many lying Department of Justice officials from lying to Congress too.”
So far, no one has lied to Congress since Paul installed the sign.
