Pfizer reminds women they can still get an abortion by getting another COVID vaccine
US—Pfizer has reminded women in the United States that they can still get an abortion following the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v Wade by getting their COVID vaccine.
“You may not be able to go to Planned Parenthood to kill your baby following the SCOTUS decision,” Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said. “But you can still get another COVID vaccine—or two—and get that abortion that you’re craving. This is still very legal and actually encouraged.”
Many women and rapists have been outraged by the Dobbs Versus Jackson Women’s Health decision in overturning the landmark abortion ruling. But Pfizer sees this as an opportunity.
“We will take advantage of the market wherever they appear,” Bourla said. “In this case, there are a lot of women who will want to get abortions and we can provide that.”
Bourla made sure to mention that the Pfizer vaccine is not 100% effective at aborting babies but that there are other benefits.
“You may not get an abortion with two vaccines but you will likely get some partial facial paralysis and or blood clots,” Bourla said.
