Disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein has confessed to killing himself in a New York jail, quashing months of Internet skepticism and conspiracy theories.

“It’s true. I hung myself with toilet paper in the suicide watch jail cell designed specifically to prevent suicide,” Epstein said in an exclusive interview with ABC News.

Rumors have circulated since the wealthy businessman with political ties was reported dead August 10, 2019. Many believe that he was killed by someone else, an act called murder, in order to protect the powerful people with whom he had sensitive information.

“Everyone can rest easy. I killed myself. There is no conspiracy to try to cover up all the sex trafficking and political blackmailing that went on on my pedophilia island. Nothing to see here!” Epstein said.

The confession comes at a good time for those associated with Epstein while he was alive, including former President Bill Clinton and current President Donald Trump.
