Allowing people to vote for anyone besides Joe Biden is a threat to Democracy!
In an age where the sanctity of democracy is being challenged daily, it’s time to address the root of the problem: the plethora of choices we have when it comes to casting our votes. The popular belief that more options equate to a healthier democracy is not just misguided; it’s downright dangerous.
Consider this: Every election season, we’re bombarded with a seemingly endless array of candidates, all vying for our attention like contestants on a never-ending reality show. From the die-hard libertarians to the socialist dreamers, we’ve got them all. It’s as if the democratic buffet has become an all-you-can-eat political feast.
But isn’t it high time we realize that more isn’t necessarily better? In fact, it’s often worse. Instead of empowering voters, the abundance of choices can lead to voter paralysis. When faced with too many options, we either choose at random or decide not to choose at all. Can democracy really thrive when a significant portion of the electorate just can’t make up its mind?
Furthermore, this proliferation of candidates has given rise to the extreme fringes of the political spectrum. Rather than having a couple of mainstream options, we’re presented with candidates who make even the most radical members of their party seem moderate. It’s as if they’re competing to see who can push the boundaries of rational discourse the furthest. Extremism isn’t the spice of democracy; it’s the poison.
Let’s also talk about the chaos of the debate stage. With so many contenders, televised debates have become less about discussing policies and more about showcasing the art of talking over each other. It’s like a reality TV show where everyone’s desperate for airtime, and the real issues get drowned out by the cacophony of voices.
To save democracy, we must embrace the less-is-more philosophy. Fewer candidates mean more focused debates, more informed voters, and a clearer mandate for the winner. We need to simplify the menu, not expand it. Limiting choices doesn’t limit freedom; it ensures that the choices we do have are well-considered.
Therefore, in order to save democracy, it is necessary to limit the choices for president in 2024 to just one: Joe Biden. People like Donald Trump and RFK, Jr. are anti-democratic because they opposed Biden, so prohibiting people from voting for them or anyone else besides Biden will SAVE DEMOCRACY!
If you disagree, you’re a white supremacist.
