Times are tough for leftists. Not only are they getting destroyed in the polls for the midterm elections, but now Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter is considering making them pay $8 a month to keep their blue check mark on the platform.

US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has fought back by launching a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to pay for the fee.

“This is a violation of free speech,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “But you wouldn’t expect anything less from a certain billionaire.”

Ocasio-Cortez has had money problems before. She has voiced concern on how to pay for rent on her $175,000 a year congressional salary.

AOC has also stated she doesn’t know how to pay off her student loans but she’s sure how to run the entire US economy.
