BREAKING: AOC launches ‘Free Rico’ campaign because ‘RICO is not a crime!’
WASHINGTON, DC—Progressive darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has announced the launch of a new campaign, “Free Rico.” The campaign, which aims to free the legendary Latin pop icon Rico Suave, has taken social media by storm, with supporters rallying behind the cause under the hashtag #FreeRico.
“Rico Suave is an icon, a symbol of Latinx culture, and he deserves to be free,” AOC proclaimed during a passionate speech on the steps of the Capitol. “RICO is not a crime, and we will not stand for this injustice any longer.”
The campaign has garnered widespread support, with celebrities and politicians alike joining forces to demand Rico Suave’s release. AOC has even gone so far as to introduce a bill in Congress that would pardon Rico and grant him amnesty for any past crimes.
“This is not just about Rico,” AOC said during an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “This is about standing up for what is right, for fighting injustice, and for celebrating the rich cultural heritage that Rico represents.”

Despite the criticism, AOC remains undeterred. She has vowed to continue the fight until Rico Suave is finally free.
“Rico deserves to be free, and we will not rest until he is,” AOC declared. “This is a fight for justice, a fight for freedom, and a fight for the soul of our country.”
