OTTAWA, TRUCKISTAN—The United Nations have officially recognized the new country of Truckistan, according to a press release by the UN Security General.

Several countries voted against recognizing the new country, but the vast majority approved.

The UN is now considering sending aid to support the fledgling country.

The newest country on Earth was formed after the failed Justin Trudeau government evacuated the capital for the socialist refuge of Portland, Oregon.

No Canadian geese were injured in the change of power.
