CNN: Startled by Loud Noises, President Kennedy Trips and Falls in Limousine
President John F. Kennedy was reportedly startled by loud noises and tripped, falling in his limousine during a motorcade through Dallas, Texas. This surprising incident was clearly nothing to be concerned about.
According to eyewitnesses, Kennedy was riding in an open-top vehicle when a series of loud bangs startled him. The president, apparently unprepared for the sudden noises, tripped and fell, causing Secret Service to rush him off.
“The president seemed quite startled by the loud noises and lost his balance,” said one eyewitness. “He tripped and fell, but it didn’t seem like anything too serious at the time.”
Despite the shocking incident, CNN has determined that there’s nothing to worry about, stating that it was simply a trip and fall accident that has been blown out of proportion by the media.
“Startled by loud noises, President Kennedy trips and falls in limousine,” Anderson Cooper has reported.
