Kamala Harris never paid reparations for slaves her family owned
As recently reported, the ancestors of Kamala Harris owned slaves yet she has not paid any sort of reparations for the sins of her family.
It’s almost as if Mrs. Harris does not think she should be held accountable for the decisions of her distant relatives. What a novel idea.
Slavery is undoubtedly the original sin of our founding, but the vast majority of Americans live in a post racial existence. But as the millionaire prosecutor of nonviolent crimes, who runs on deeply identity saturated politics, reminds us it’s not the average American who subjugated an entire group of people for economic purposes, but the same people who now use race as a cudgel to fragment Americans.
Identity politics is a cudgel for the powerful to divide Americans. Change my mind.
