Khan promises to ban knives ‘harder’ after latest London knife attack

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has promised to ban knives harder after the latest terrorist knife attack in London.

“Killing people with knives is already illegal and so is just carrying a knife,” Khan said. “Therefore, the only solution to our problem is to ban knives harder from now on.”

In Britain, it is currently illegal to carry a knife longer than three inches in public “without good reason” and illegally carrying a knife can be punished with up to four years in prison and an “unlimited fine.”

Other prohibited items include firearms and large sporks.

But it hasn’t really helped and seems to have made the crimes more frequent.

Going forward it will be super-duper illegal to carry a knife longer than three inches in public “without good reason”. This move will definitely mean a decrease in knife crime.

“That’ll solve things,” Khan added.
