WASHINGTON, DC—Jan. 6 committee Vice Chair Liz Cheney delivered an opening statement in the first of several public hearings to present the findings of the panel investigating the worst day in American history last year on the U.S. Capitol.

Cheney is one of two Republicans on the committee, both wear a lot of makeup.

Cheney said in an exclusive interview with Genesius Times that she is looking forward to committing career suicide on prime time television.

“This is what I’ve worked so hard to do my entire life,” Cheney said. “If I’m going out, might as well go with a bang!”
