Ocasio-Cortez to make April Fool’s Day a national holiday to honor ‘America’s useful idiots’

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, affectionately known as Alexandria Ocassional-Cortex by her fans, is pushing to make April Fool’s Day a national holiday to honor “America’s useful idiots.”
“Dumb people have made amazing contributions to this country,” Ocasio-Cortez said standing in front of Karl Marx statue. “Like Richard Marx behind me, who helped to pave the way for equality for all, while crooning rock anthems in the 1980s.”
The first term representative was ridiculed when her Green New Deal plan got destroyed in the Senate 57-0, but she’s not letting that stop he from making a difference.
“Most people like to celebrate intelligence or intelligent people, but really, what have they done that’s so great? We could totally live without electric light and the automobile. In fact, we would probably be better off since we wouldn’t be killing the planet and all dying in 12 years!”
A crowd of gray-faced people nodded during her speech, quietly repeating, “Beep, boop, beep.”
“Richard Marx said that the revolution needs useful idiots and I couldn’t agree more. That’s why we should celebrate them with at least one national holiday!”
