Thousands flock to London to turn their backs on Trump and show how much they don’t care about him
Trump is so irrelevant in the UK that near 2 percent of the British population will travel to London in order to turn their backs on the American president in order to show him how much they don’t care about him.
“We came all the way from Glasgow,” Robert Bruce said at the Trump protest in Piccadilly. “We spent a lot of time and effort to make sure he knows that we don’t care about him!”
Others made it clear that Trump is so childish and unsophisticated that it warrants a big blowup doll depiction of Trump as a baby.
As British philosopher Jarvis Dupont said, “I’m glad Khan gave the go-ahead for us to fly a big cartoon balloon effigy of Trump as a baby while he’s visiting because that will prove to the orange-faced shreddie-head just how childish and infantile he is!”
“We despise fascism,” another protester who refused to be identified said. “And if you don’t like it, we will censor you and throw you in jail if you dissent.”
British police have been on a long anti-fascist streak by cracking down on all sorts of weapons—even giant sporks. “It is by cracking down on the citizens’ ability to defend themselves that we show how anti-fascist we are,” Police Chief Watson said.
The #TrumpNotWelcome protest has come after ISIS claimed responsibility for the violent disaster of the Sadiq Khan mayorship.
