WASHINGTON, DC—After Historic Hurricane Ian devastated the West coast of Florida, President* Joe Biden said that he will do everything in his power to help the people of Florida, including sending $13 billion more of their tax money to Ukraine.

“This is a life-changing event for everyone,” Biden said in a press conference. “But the people who need the help most are those people in Ukraine.”

Lee County Manager Roger Desjarlais had said late Wednesday that the storm was “too strong” for officials to properly survey the damage.

“We are beginning to get a sense that our community has been, in some respects, decimated,” he said that night.

Biden has wasted no time in using the catastrophe to gin up support for Ukraine.

“There’s no time to waste. We need to send much more money and military aid to Ukraine or else Russia,” Biden added.
