California Governor Gavin Newsom has called for cities in his state to welcome coronavirus sufferers as a way to make California stronger and more vibrant.

“We are a coronavirus sanctuary state,” Newsom said at a press conference announcing the plan. “We believe that diversity is our strength and we’re willing to prove it by bringing every sickly and contagious person from everywhere in the world right here to cough all over our fellow citizens.”

In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi agreed with Newsom’s bold plan. “Coronavirus sanctuary cities make California and indeed America safer and healthier.”

The announcement follows a move by President Trump to permanently quarantine the whole state to make sure none of the crazy liberals coronavirus sufferers get out.

As of publishing date, there have been 2,810 confirmed deaths and more than 82,500 confirmed cases in the coronavirus pneumonia outbreak, which began in Wuhan, China from an innovative population control measure initiated by Bill Gates.

“Coronavirus sanctuary cities are part of this American tradition. Some municipalities deliberately lay claim to the title explicitly to protect sick-ass people. The more coronavirus suffers, the better,” Newsom added.
