DeSantis bans rainbows from Florida after reports they were making people gay
TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA—Governor Ron DeSantis has banned rain from the state of Florida after reports that was making people gay.
The measure, known as the “Rainbow-free Florida” bill, is a state-wide ban on the rainbow-inducing meteorological phenomenon. It follows the anti-grooming bill passed earlier this year.
During the signing, DeSantis fired back at Hollywood elites who have contributed to misconceptions about the legislation protecting Floridians from activist precipitation for leftist causes.
“If the people who held up degenerates like Harvey Weinstein as exemplars and as heroes, and as all that, if those are the types of people that are opposing our weather, I wear that like a badge of honor,” DeSantis declared.
Rainbows have been coopted to represent LGBTQ Pride.
“I don’t care what corporate media outlets say. I don’t care what Hollywood says. I don’t care what big corporations say. Here I stand. I’m not backing down,” he said.
