LeBron gets okay from Chinese government to criticize Drew Brees

With the sports world on pause from COVID-19 pandemic, there is still action playing out in the field of Internet debate. Today’s scrimmage featured New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and NBA Los Angeles Lakers front man….LeBron James.

On Wednesday of this week, Drew Brees gave a passionate recounting to Yahoo Finance reporter Daniel Roberts, of his love for his grandfather’s service in World War II and their love for the American flag. Brees went on later to say that he will never tolerate one of his teammates to disrespect the American flag, due to what it means to him and other Americans. “I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country,” Brees said.

Having this opinion did not sit well with NBA player LeBron James and after getting approval from the communist Chinese government, he responded.

“I am outraged! That white boy is disrespecting the lives and experiences of black people around the country by standing up for that racist white flag! How dare he! He needs to get on those scrawny knees of his and bow down to me and others who feel oppressed by Drew’s opinions!” James said.

LeBron James, well known for not being a fan of free speech, slammed Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey in October of last year, for Morey’s supportive tweets of Hong Kong’s anti-government protests against the oppressive Chinese Communist regime….after Beijing imposed oppressive measures against the autonomous state of Hong Kong.

When asked why LeBron James was not a fan of free speech or people having their own opinions, James quickly responded with: “That’s racist to ask me any questions like that! How dare you!”
