REPORT: Netanyahu to form coalition government by the year 2089

ISRAEL—The Jerusalem Post reported today that with the high number of failed coalition governments, experts predict that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will form a new coalition government by the year 2089. Experts also predict that in the same year a new government is formed, Netanyahu will be in his 98^th term as prime minister.

“This is a fight we can’t afford to lose,” Netanyahu said. “I don’t care if it takes 237 elections for me to become prime minister – it doesn’t matter. I’ll keep on fighting to defend the only Jewish state on the planet.”

In an effort to bring back some semblance of electoral stability, the Knesset passed a new law earlier this year, according to which all voters will be required to post selfies after casting their votes. Failure to post selfies carries a 1-year prison sentence and $5,000 penalty.

Election experts say that although the new law won’t solve all of Israel’s electoral troubles, it’s a good step in the right direction.
