BREAKING: Fox News calls Arizona for Biden in 2024 election
(FOX NEWS) Fox News has officially called the state of Arizona for Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election.
While the 2020 election is still in play as votes are being counted in several battleground and swing states, Fox News is confident that Biden will take Arizona in 2024.
“I don’t know if I trust that call,” Betsy Walters, a Fox News fan in Phoenix said. “It seems weird to call a state that hasn’t finished counting, much less even started voting. But it’s the news so it must be true!”
At the time of publication, upwards of 600,000 votes, mostly early, in-person ballots, are still being counted in the Grand Canyon State but Fox refuses to retract its Arizona call for 2020 or 2024.
“It’s pretty simple,” Fox News spokesperson Drew Heet said, “The Latino vote is crucial in Arizona, and as Joe Biden has made very clear, Latinos are diverse, unlike African Americans, and even though Trump got a greater percentage of votes from minorities than any Republican since 1960, Arizona’s Latinos are going to vote for Biden, whether they vote for him or not because science.”
Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien said on a call Wednesday with reporters that, “based on the math we’ve been seeing as these late ballots are counted, anywhere from two-thirds to 70 percent of these votes are coming to the president.”
Stepien refused to comment on the 2024 results.
