Call them gaffs or mental lapses, former Vice President and current presidential candidate Joe Biden has had plenty of them in the short campaign. Despite them, however, Biden says he’s, “Confident he will win the 2020 race for Shady Acres Retirement Home President.”

Many have pointed to the fact that Biden doesn’t remember that he’s running for president of the United States as a sign that he’s not qualified.

One Democratic contender Julian Castro has criticized Biden often. In a debate, Castro said that Biden mis-remembered several important aspects to an anecdote about hunting water buffalos in the Great North in the 1970s.

“If he can’t remember that, then he shouldn’t be president of Shady Acres or any institution!” Castro said.

Biden staff are confident that Biden will be fine and that, “Public Service is just like riding a bike.”
