Media Gaslighting on Gas Stoves so Intense It’ll Supply Enough Gas for a Lifetime

Germany Wrestles With Policy Course For Helping Consumers Against High Energy Prices

BERLIN, GERMANY - AUGUST 19: In this photo illustration a gas flame burns on a gas stove top on August 19, 2022 in Berlin, Germany. The German government, faced with skyrocketing prices for natural gas, is wrestling with policies designed to alleviate the hike in prices for consumers and businesses yet at the same time create a financial cushion for gas providers and utilities. Germany and other countries in Europe still import a significant portion of their gas from Russia. The media has been all up in a frenzy these past few days over a federal proposal to ban gas stoves nationwide. But since the vast majority of Americans like their gas stoves, of course, it was time for the media to get into gear and start gaslighting the American people into oblivion.

First, they claimed no one was coming after their gas stoves; then they claimed that Republicans were just making gas stoves an issue to wage a culture war; then they claimed that federal regulators were indeed banning gas stoves; and then they finally claimed that banning gas stoves is actually a good thing.

Experts in the gaslighting field say that the media’s insane amount of gaslighting on the issue will supply enough gas for everybody for a lifetime.
