Ocasio-Cortez: ‘Global warming started the Notre Dame fire’
In the aftermath of the devastating fire of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, people are looking for answers. Some say it was an accident, but others see a more nefarious cause.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is convinced that the fire was, “caused by global warming, duh.” She made the remarks while being driven around Washington DC in a Chevrolet Suburban.
“It’s so obvious. What happens when you heat things up? They catch on fire. The increase in temperatures around the globe are going to start igniting things on fire like church buildings and even small pets some times. If you like your kitty cat or your dog Spot, we need to address this impending doom.”
Ocasio-Cortez has been on a campaign to save the world from its inevitable demise in 12 years by curbing man-made climate change.
Her Green New Deal was shut down in Congress because they’re all sexist but included ingenious ideas like requiring everyone to hold their breath for 4 hours a day and preventing cows from farting.
“The world is going to end in 11 years and 11 months and this is a sign of the end times. I mean, if global warming can ignite Notre Dame Cathedral on fire, what can it not ignite on fire?”
“It was so global warming that caused the Notre Dame fire. How could you say it wasn’t? The science is settled,” she added.
