Terrible show pretends to be good for the first 3 seasons

U.S. – Local quarantined couple John and Lynn Flenderson are exploring legal options this week after what they claim was an “intentional, systematic fraud” perpetrated against them by Netflix. According to sources close to the case, the Flendersons claim they were intentionally misled after investing hundreds of hours in a completely awful show that pretended to be a good show for 3 seasons.

“We are completely heartbroken,” said John in a press release outside their suburban home. “We dedicated our lives to this show. We gave our hearts to these characters. We invested thousands of dollars in chips and guacamole to snack on while binging. We demand an apology and financial compensation from a heartless streaming service that stole 3 weeks of our lives from us.”

Witnesses say that the show in question is absolutely riveting for three seasons with well-written characters and an engaging plot. Somewhere midway through season 4 however, the rug is pulled out from under the viewer as characters do things completely out of character, and the plot stops making sense. By the end, the viewers are left with that icky, empty feeling in the pit of their stomachs as they slowly realize they have wasted countless precious hours they will never get back.

After the press conference, the heartbroken couple went back into their house to find solace in the arms of a show that won’t ever let them down: The Office.
