Omar: ‘It’s time for America to choose: are you with the terrorists or the peaceful Iranians?’
US Representative Ilhan Omar (D–MN) took time out of mourning the death of a mass murderer to chastise Americans torn about the conflict in the Middle East.
“It’s time for America to choose: are you with the terrorists or the peaceful Iranians?” Omar asked at a campaign stop for Bernie Sanders. “We all know the Iranian government wishes nothing but the best for everyone and wouldn’t hurt a fly. The US President and military, on the other hand, are terrorists, plain and simple.”
The call for action follows an escalation in US-Iranian hostilities since President Trump okayed the military strike of the peace-loving mass murderer Qassim Suleimani in Iraq.
“I think we all know that Suliemani is more American than Donald Trump,” Omar added.
Omar, who is a Muslim of Somali descent has no official ties to Iran besides being married to several terrorists from the country.
Months earlier, Omar expressed sadness for the death of al-Baghdadi, though she has not spoken directly of the austere military scholar Suliemani.
