No one in Congress is more woker than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, so when she claimed that the best way to strike back at rich white men was to elect a rich white man as president, people should listen.

“Rich white men are the problem in the US, that’s why I want you to vote for a rich white man for president!” she exclaimed during her official endorsement.

This endorsement of Bernie Sanders is stunning and brave and even though it seems like it’s reaffirming the patriarchy, it’s clearly not.

“The Patriarchy is only those rich white men that reject the Patriarchy. If you believe in the Patriarchy, then you’re not in it but if you don’t believe it, you’re literally Hitler.”

Two of AOC’s fellow Squad members also endorsed the democratic socialist Sanders: Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib.
