Democrats rally around coronavirus as their best bet to beat Trump in 2020

Democrats around the country are celebrating the death and economic destruction of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as their best bet to beat Donald Trump in 2020.

In a recent Genesius Times/CNM poll, coronavirus received 60 percent of the votes for who would most likely defeat Trump as the Democratic nominee.

“We’ve never nominated a deadly virus as president,” DNC Chair Tom Perez said, “but we’re living in strange times. Donald Trump is such a threat to our way of life that we must encourage the coronavirus in every way to make sure Trump doesn’t get reelected.”

Coronavirus has infected over 6,000 people in the US and has killed over 100, making it almost as deadly as butterflies. What’s worse is the economic impact the disease is having as governments close everything and the more draconian measures some municipalities are taking to prevent the spread and create panic, such as randomly shutting off electricity.

“Our current candidates, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders are pretty pathetic. We may have to allow coronavirus on the next debate stage to make things interesting,” Perez added.
