Twitter announced on Tuesday that the social media company had banned thousands of accounts by QAnon users who had already left Twitter because Twitter sucks.

The company announced the action in a statement on Parler, the site where everyone is moving to because Twitter sucks:

“We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm unless it’s in support of Black Lives Matter in which case offline harm is perfectly okay. So, we’ve deleted thousands of accounts associated with QAnon, which have been inactive recently because they’ve all moved to Parler anyway, but we’re still doing something super woke on our sucky platform.”

The QAnon movement includes a multitude of beliefs and claims, but it focuses on the existence of a shadowy figured named “Q” who claims to be a military intelligence operative and posts cryptic messages about the president’s hidden strategy to take down the “deep state.”

“We will permanently suspend accounts Tweeting about these topics that we know are engaged in violations of our multi-account policy, coordinating abuse around individual victims, or who have left Twitter already for greener pastures,” Twitter claimed.

“We want Twitter to be a perfect bubble and echo chamber of liberal ideology and we have no patience for conspiracy theories about how government isn’t perfectly benevolent (apart from Donald Trump of course, who is Hitler),” Twitter said.
