Don’t want a rape? Don’t get a rape. It’s not okay to impose your religious views on others!
I’m a super progressive. One might say I’m “ultra” progressive.
I dye my hair. I have a Ukraine flag in my Twitter handle. I get it.
So when I heard about the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade, I almost had a heart attack.
I absolutely believe that abortion is a fundamental right, enshrined in the Constitution. Don’t even try to argue that. It just is. I can’t tell you where in the constitution, but it’s there.
If you think abortion is wrong, don’t get an abortion. It’s not difficult. Just don’t get an abortion. You don’t get to impose your religious views on others and tell them not to get an abortion!
And this principle applies to everything.
If you don’t like rape, for instance, don’t get a rape. It’s not okay to impose your religious views on others.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but hear it well: YOU CANNOT IMPOSE YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS ON OTHERS.
Don’t like murder? Don’t get a murder.
Don’t like genocide? Don’t get a genocide.
Don’t like the Holocaust? Don’t get a Holocaust.
This is science!
